Netflix Actor Mahesh Jadu Was At Marbella Film School!
On the 19th of March, we were fortunate enough to have guest-star Mahesh Jadu come to the school to answer all our questions on how to succeed in the film industry as well as in our daily life. Mahesh Jadu, who stars in the Netflix show Marco Polo, can also be recognised from the Australian soap opera Neighbours or our favourite pirate movie, Pirates of the Caribbean.
We would like to give Mahesh a huge thank you for coming to the school and really engaging with the audience. We would also like to thank everyone who took part and brought their questions to the space. It was extremely interesting to see how diverse our audience was and how profoundly Mahesh managed to answer everyone's questions.
Here is what some of our students had to say about the Q&A:
"From a perspective of a Marbella film school student, I can say I thoroughly enjoyed the talk Mahesh gave us. I personally feel like he spoke about really important factors i.e staying in character, being comfortable in front of the camera, getting over nerves, listening to directors notes, how to do well in auditions and much more. Mahesh always went it to thorough detail with every question and was super outgoing and genuinely interested to hear what everyone had to say. Thanks to Mahesh I now feel like I can develop a better performance at Marbella film school in front of the camera."

"As an aspiring actress, I struggle a lot with self-doubt and confidence. I let negative thoughts get in the way of becoming a character and working to my full potential. I was desperate for guidance, on how to overcome negative thoughts as well as how to keep every performance fresh after rehearsing scenes hundreds of times.
I would like to give a big massive thank you to Mahesh Jadu, who guided me on how to stay in character, how to not let self-doubt get in the way and how to effectively take direction. He managed to connect with every single person in the room and address their doubts with both a professional and personal point of view.
I am confident that I am not the only one who left the room feeling very inspired."

We greatly appreaciate Mahesh for coming as well as everyone's participation. Mahesh will be coming back this year to teach a special course at Marbella Film School, so make sure you stay tuned!
